THE FOOD
While in Vermont we are excited to collaborate with Dutchess Farms for all of our freshly picked greens and gather daily everything else directly from our own farm! Planning the menu for September in early March, we nurture your meal every step of the way until it is hand crafted and plated for you! Our kitchen is industrial in size, open and available for cooking classes, q & a the entire time. We welcome ( and encourage) you into the kitchen to help, sit and discuss strategies and or road blocks over the long haul. Outside meal times fresh fruit and snacks will be available – we are excited to take care of you! and share how wonderful eatting farm to table can be for your overall vitality!

LODGING
Our Vermont home base is the absolutely stunning, 500-acre legacy OQ Farm. Conveniently located between Killington Mountain & the historic town of Woodstock VT, it is completey secluded yet mintues away from botique, world class spas and hiking. The property boasts eight different buildings to privately enjoy – A woodstove fired yoga studio barn, a main lodge, historic farm house and several cottages scattered around the property. Each accomodation, tastefully appointed with a luxurious yet rusticly-VT-relaxed vibe. Complete with fire pits, sitting rooms, washer/drier, gorgeous bathrooms and all the amenities you need; choose a private room, share space or maybe an XL bunk room with a few friends and feel right at home no matter where you land!
THE AREA
The nearly 500 acres of OQ Farm is situated right by Woodstock, Vermont, recently described by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the the most beautiful towns in the entire country. Woodstock is known for its charm, covered bridges, and the ongoing influence of Laurence Rockefeller. Rockefeller spent six decades of time, effort and great Rockefeller wealth to make Woodstock the beautiful and quaint town that it now is. Take a stroll through town to find an array of breweries, eateries, galleries, antiques, boutique shopping, and more. The Woodstock Inn is also home to a world-class spa. Also within the vicinity of OQ Farm is Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National park, where you can visit historic buildings, go on hikes, and experience breathtaking views. Swing by Simon Pearce Glass to buy beautiful handmade glass work, or the King Arthur Baking company for a wide variety of flours, cooking tools, and more. Fans of skiing will be happy to know that Killington Resort, the biggest ski resort east of the Mississippi River and dubbed “The Beast of the East” is close by, too. Off-season, Killington offers visitors hiking, mountain biking, golf and a range of outdoor festivals. The Appalachian Trail also offers a multitude of activities year-round, showing off breathtaking views in every season.
We recommend you arrive with an open mind and listen to what your body needs once you are with us and able to realx. Enjoy a ton to do – and lots of time to do nothing too! When your body says sleep – please do. When it says take two classes and a long walk (or more we invite you to). While in Vermont we are lucky to have a wood stove fired hot yoga studio on site and also be just minutes away from our brick and mortar location of True Yoga Vermont. This means we will have a full schedule of yoga, fitness, mindfullness, outdoor excursions AND a full scheudule at True Yoga Vermont if you are looking for even more to do! Participation in classes and activities is optional throughout the retreat. All levels welcome and will be hand tailored to the level of energy as we move through our stay!
